Without giving away our guarded secret recipe, the other ingredients are a proprietary blend of natural botanical essences, including things like peppermint, rosemary, lavendar, jojoba and orange.

Not at all! It's the coconut oil. At DJAM we use natural products, as close to how they appear in nature, as possible. Many of the good fats found in coconut oil solidify at room temperature. Simply shake your oil and/or place the bottle in a cup or bowl of warm water and it will quickly return to liquid form for easy dispensing.

Pronounced like "jam," DJAM means peace in Fulfulde or the language of the Fula/Fulani. It is our hope that DJAM products will bring you peace and joy!

We think that DJAM signature Scalp and Hair Oil smells like a relaxing "citrus tea." It has a pleasant, warm "herbaceous" smell with a bright citus note.

Anyone. DJAM scalp and hair oil is for all hair types. You may also use it on your beard. While not its intended purpose, we have been told that DJAM oil also softens and moisturizes the skin.

DJAM oil is handmade in small batches. We use a more gentle process (time) to extract and preserve the beneficial properties of the ingredients. While there are quicker methods (e.g. using high or excessive heat or chemicals) we prefer to take a little longer to ensure that you get the highest quality product.

While DJAM Scalp and Hair oil is great for all hair types and is made from all natural ingredients, those who have an allergy to any of the ingredients or have had an adverse reaction from DJAM Scalp and Hair Oil before, should not use it. However, there are other great DJAM products on the way and we hope that you find one that you love!
